Disappointment for 'Baahubali' fans. The film has been out of the Oscar race.

India's official entry to Oscars has been announced and the Rajamouli directorial lost to Marathi film 'Court'. The Jury, headed by Amol Palekar, said that they believe 'Court' represents contemporary Indian cinema.

'Court', directed by Chaitanya Tamhane, is a courtroom drama, which received highly positive reviews. The film was screened at various International film festivals.
