'Baahubali' and its sequel directed by S.S. Rajamouli are one (two) of the biggest blockbuster hits ever in Indian cinema The film that had Prabhas, Anushka and Rana Daggubatti in the lead roles was elevated to a great extent by the songs and background score of veteran composer M.M Keeravani.
Keeravani is well known to Tamil audience as Maragadhamani who has scored music for a number of films including K. Balachander's 'Azhagan' and Bharathiraja's 'Jaathi Malli'. Recent reports started doing the rounds that the upcoming 'RRR' directed by Rajamouli and starring Junior NTR and Ram Charan Teja will be his last film as he has decided to quit films.
Keeravani has clarified that he is now spending the lockdown in his village farmhouse along with his family and is faraway from the hustle-bustle of cities and social media. He has however given the strong clarification that he has no intention of retiring from music composition and will continue for a long time.
The ace composer did let out that way back in 2014 he did have thoughts about calling it a day and retiring but now he is as enthusiastic as a young man and is raring to go and do more and more films. Now this clarification has sure brought a sigh of relief from the millions of fans of the genius musical wizard.
