'Baahubali' loses, but Rajamouli is 'bindaas'

When 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' released, hardly any discerning commentator found it to be an Oscar-worthy material. So, when it was given a miss by the Indian panel which selected 'Newton' as the country's official entry, nobody really felt that the epic fantasy received a raw deal.
But does Rajamouli believe that the magnum opus should have got through? "I am not at all disappointed that the film has lost the Oscars race. When I make a film, I never think about awards. It is not my aim. The aim is to first satisfy myself with the story and then next is to see that it reaches the maximum number of audience and makes money for everyone who has put their life in it," the director has been quoted saying by a news agency.
"That is my most important thing. If awards come, then I am happy. If they don't, I don't mind that because they are not at all my criteria," the director said.
Rajamouli is going to work with Mahesh Babu in the last leg of 2018. This is being touted as the ultimate crazy entertainer. The director, in all probability, is set to make Mahesh an Indian star with this film.
