Versatile actor Sathyaraj has reportedly been hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19. He is said to be undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Aminjikkarai in Chennai.

He is one of the handfuls of film celebs to contract the virus this week. Mahesh Babu is mildly asymptomatic and has isolated himself at his home. Music director Thaman is also Covid positive, so also actress Trisha Krishnan. All these three celebs are fully vaccinated. That's why their infection is mild.

Coming to Sathyaraj, a health bulletin is expected soon. The actor's most recent release is '1945', starring Rana Daggubati in the lead. He has played a revolutionary who leads an INA regiment in 1945 to fight for India's freedom. He is known for films like 'Prati Roju Pandage' and 'Jersey' in Telugu. Sathyaraj will soon be seen in films like 'Pakka Commercial' as well.
