Jayam Ravi-Nayanthara starrer 'Thani Oruvan' has emerged as one of the blockbusters and unanimously praised Tamil films this year. The film, directed by Mohan Raja is getting widespread appreciation from movie buffs, critics, and celebrities from Kollywood.

The thriller flick has managed to get open appreciation directors Shankar, Gautham Menon and other highly acclaimed filmmakers of the recent times. Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin and corporate leader Shiv Nadar have also praised the film.

Now the latest to join the list of people smitten by 'Thani Oruvan' is director S.S. Rajamouli whose latest film 'Baahubali' has turned out as the biggest ever blockbuster in South India. He had some special mention for the film's director Raja, actor Aravind Swamy who played the suave, much loved villain role 'Siddharth Abhimanyu and the film's composer Hiphop Tamizha while praising the film.
