Released in 2017, Baahubali 2 The conclusion directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah had turned out to be a humongous blockbuster, and the movie was released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi and had grossed more than 2000 crores.

The movie's Tamil version was distributed by K Productions S.Rajarajan, and even during the release, the movie had issues with KDM delay due to financial issues, and two years later, Arka Media works which had produced Baahubali has sent a legal notice citing that K Productions owes 17.6 crores to them.

The notice mentions that the cheque given by K Productions was dishonored as funds were insufficient, and following this a criminal prosecution has been initiated against S Rajarajan. As K Productions has also failed to furnish security for the 17.6 crores, their bank account stands attached, and the notice seeks the attachment of bank accounts of K Productions.
