The 65th National Film Awards has thrown up two winners from Tollywood. If 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' has won the Best Wholesome Entertainment and Popular Movie award, 'The Ghazi Attack' has got the Best Telugu Picture award in the regional category.
In all, the Rajamouli-directed magnum opus has won three awards, the other two in the categories of Best Special Effects and Best Action Sequences.
The two films have made Tollywood proud. 'Ghazi', starring Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon and a host of an ensemble cast, was directed by the Telugu man Sankalp Reddy, a debutant. As for 'Baahubali-2', it was a commercial success par excellence. Incidentally, it too starred Rana Daggubati in a key role in the Prabhas-Anushka-Sathyaraj-Ramya Krishna starrer.
