Now the record of 'Baahubali' has been surpassed by its sequel within six days of its release. 'Baahubali 2:The Conclusion' released on April 28, 2017 (Friday) in as many as 9000 screens across the globe in multiple languages. It has been confirmed that 'Baahubali 2' has collected Rs. 750 Cr (worldwide) after the night show of May 3.
In US, the film is the biggest-ever Indian hit. It has crossed the ginormous USD 12M mark. The Telugu version alone accounts for 60 per cent of this figure, while Hindi and Tamil versions respectively account for 25 and 15 per cent.
In Tamil Nadu, the march is getting more and more glorious by the day. It has already grossed Rs. 50 Cr in that State.
In Kerala, it's standing at Rs. 30 Cr. It's expected to pip many extant records among Malayalam movies.
But the biggest news is here:
In the Telugu States, there is no stopping the movie from becoming a monster of sorts. It has mopped up a share of Rs. 109 Cr as on the end of the sixth day. This makes it a far bigger hit than any other movie in the history of Telugu cinema.
