Baahubali -2 production is witnessing a spree of pre- production activities to visualize the grandiose
required to tell an epic movie. They are roping in all that is required to deliver much spectacular visuals
than the initial part which has mesmerized many for never-before scenes and action. A team of almost
500 artists comprising of carpenters, sculptors, artists & painters are collaborating to deliver startling set
to match the demands of its grandeur storyline taking the cine lovers to another magical journey.

The production site is a like a factory bringing out props and sets that are required to recreate that period that was envisioned by the director. As a result of their consistent efforts forts, palaces, ponds and what not even horses and human characters are created in the factory in Hyderabad. But only thing is that all these are artificial and not real. Everything made here are so perfect that they look even better than the real. The making of a grandiose set has already hit the headlines. It took almost one year for Sabu Cyril to make sets of Baahubali part one - The Beginning. In it more emphasis were given for the graphics work than the sets and hoopla on it was fuelled by the media.

In the second part, there is less graphics work. They are trying to give a real` impact in the scenes and they are using real sets to its full potential. The art director even had to forsake Enthiran 2 offer because of the hectic work at the work location. This was mentioned in an interview given by Sabu Cyril to Iflick entertainment portal.

According to Sabu Cyril, the making of the set of Baahubali-2 were like working for 10 films simultaneously. They have been working for almost 3 years, starting with the work of the first film. In fact these exposures have given them an experience of 10 years in this domain. In order to give a real`feeling to the properties and sets, money is spend without any budget constraints. The story happens in the olden times and to set the background, latest technology is adopted including 3D printing. Technologies that were not used earlier in movies, which were only used in Industrial production, are utilized to accentuate the real` factor in the film.

The success of Baahubali has helped a lot in deciding a sumptuous budget that is required in making the sets of part 2. Total budget of the film has been increased and materials are even imported from foreign countries. The art director even relocated to Hyderabad to accomplish this mega project. Lot of research is required and for it he depends on books and internet. Apart from it, he discusses with experts and wizards in this field and gathers valuable inputs from them. He also takes time to discuss with the director Rajmouli and as it is his job to deliver things that the director has envisaged for the shots.

The snakes, horses & elephants depicted in the film will even surpass the original in perfection. These mechanical creatures will help to shoot the portions showing animals. This will avoid unnecessary animal cruelty and violence while prodding the real animals to act. The arms used will look heavy but it in reality it is made out of light material fibre that is used in making helicopter blades. This will in fact give a sturdy feel, even though it is weightless and is tensile.Integrated Rubber Foam has also been used in the making. This is usually used in the machines of Gym.

The` Sivalinga` which Prabhas lifts and carries in Baahubali is made out of this integrated rubber foam. The dummies are made out of Flexi Foam and are extensively used in the film. In the first part Mahismathi kingdom was the handiwork of graphics team, but in the second part it is created more manually. The teams is not ready to divulge any further details on this and like to stay
tight lipped until its release.
