Baadshah to clash with Shadow on Jan 11, 2013

Days after the announcement of Shadow's release date comes from Bandla Ganesh the information of Baadshah's release date. The movie will be released on Jan 11.

Thus, two Sankranthi biggies are going to slug it out at the Box Office on the same day. As we know, Bodyguard was scheduled to be released on the day after Businessman's release, but it was put off for one day. Even Businessman's release date was put off for two days as the makers waited for a Friday.

Both Baadshah and Shadow will be released on Friday and thus, no last minute changes can be expected. Since advancement to Wednesday or Thursday is ruled out because Telugu filmmakers nowadays prefer a Friday release to make the most out of overseas openings, the two films will surely clash on Jan 11.

Baadshah is TFI's costliest movie ever: Bandla

Bandla Ganesh has announced that Baadshah is the costliest movie that has ever been made in Telugu. He adds, "Besides NTR, Kajal and Navdeep, about 50 popular actors from Telugu, Tamil and Hindi are part of the cast. We will shoot in Bangkok till Sep 5. From Sep 12, we will launch a schedule in Hyderabad. Later, we will shoot in Gujarath, Europe and Hong Kong."
