Film Analytical and Appreciation Society (FAAS) conferred Dasari Cine Awards for the year 2018 on May 6, in Hyderabad, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha.

BA Raju was conferred with the FAAS-Dasari Lifetime Achievement Award.  "I am very happy to be honoured with this award since it's named after Dasari garu.  I thank the committee for honouring me with this award.  I also thank my family, film industry, and fellow journalists for their support.  I congratulate fellow awardees." FAAS-Dasari Keerthi Kireeta Silver Crown awards were conferred on senior director Kodi Ramakrishna and celebrated TV host Suma Kanakala.

Sekhar Kammula is the year's Best Director of the year.  Suddala Ashok Teja is the best lyricist.  Madhu Priya is the best singer.  Director Vaddepalli Krishna has got an award for his film 'Lavanya With Love Boys'.  Sampoornesh Babu, Shiva Parvathi, music director Vasu Rao, dialogue-writer Sanjeevi, and others have also been conferred awards in various categories.
