B4U MOVIES acquires latest Bachchan films

2007 has begun with a bang at B4U as the network has bought the global exclusive screening rights to three blockbusters- GURU, UMRAO JAAN and the yet to be released NISHABD.

The acquiring of rights for movies such as GURU and UMRAO JAAN has even more significance as the leading pair in both movies – Abhishek and Aishwarya got engaged last week and are scheduled to tie the knot next month. On the other hand NISHABD has Bachchan senior in the lead.

What's more, Abhishek's superlative performance in Mani Ratnam's GURU has won him accolades from critics while Aishwarya has given one of her most memorable performances to date in J.P. Dutta's UMRAO JAAN.

Upcoming NISHABD draws on Vladmir Nakabov's novel "Lolita" about a 60-year-old man's romance with an 18-year-old girl and stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jiah Khan, who grew up in London.
