Lavani is afavourite choice of our B-town filmmakers these days... Of late one could seeseveral songs popping up which has the Maharashtrian flavour added in. Here arefew tracks, where our screen hotties with their beautiful curves and groovescaptured everyone’s hearts…. WhichMarathi Mulgi of these is your pick???

Katrina Kaif - She made the wheels go round" Katrina Kaif’s sizzling moves in "Chikni Chameli" not only made oomph statement, but it also brought back the Maharashtrian "Mungada" flavour with Kat wearing a similar outfit like Helen in the old song.

Vidya Balan - After the success of ‘The Dirty Picture’, Vidya Balan made everyone watch in awe at her Lavani jhatkas and matkas in Ferrari Ki Sawaari’s "Jau De" song. The talented actress looked red hot in the typical Maharashtrian folk avatar.

Chitrangda Singh - A hot, modern, stylish Marathi mulgi is what Chitrangda looks in Joker’s "Kafirana". Although it is not a full-on Maharashtrian song, the regional flavour is blended in well, in the song.

Rani Mukherji - This Bengali beauty had earlier donned the Maharashtrian attire in ‘Chalte Chalte’ for "Gumshuda" song, but only for few minutes. Now soon one can see Rani in an entire Lavani song "Aga Bai" in her forthcoming film ‘Aiyya’.The song, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, will see the actress wearing navvari - the traditional nine-yard saree, the nose ring nathni and other accessories that traditional lavani dancers wear.

Madhuri Dixit - This Marathi beauty played the typical Mumbai chi pori beautifully in - Main Kolhapur Se Aayi Hoon" song from ‘Anjaam’ and "Hum Toh Aaj Kal Hai" in ‘Tehzab’.

Helen - This classic, Mummy of item gals, Helen made men go weak in the famous "Mungada" song, inspiring the new generation to don the regional flavour".
