The starry and gala occasion, which was held at Dilip saab’s home in Pali Hill, was interestingly graced by all the top three Khans – Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir.

Dilip Kumar's contemporaries Dharmendra, Waheeda Rahman and Amitabh Bachchan were also there, along Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan, Randhir, Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor, Govinda, Rani Mukherji, Priyanka Chopra, Subhash Ghai and many other noted celebrities…

Making the day more interesting to remember, Dilip Saab joined the big, glittering micro-blogging social network Twitter – thus sending excitement among the filmdom. Moments after he logged into his account name ‘TheDilipKumar’, the veteran was flooded with welcome tweets and birthday wishes from several celebrities and fans.

Replying them, Dilip Kumar tweeted, “Spent hours on this screen yesterday, read your greetings, your blessings and your prayers. God bless all of you… It is a true blessing to be so loved and a wonderful feeling to wake up and realise one is younger than was yesterday.”
