The makers of Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Azhar' have released the motion poster of the film that gives us enough evidence of just how the film is going to deal with the entire match fixing scandal that turned India`s most loved cricket captain into an anti-hero overnight..

The poster shows Emraan sitting in the locker room, with the jerseys of his team hanging behind along with a bag full of cash in front of him. The expressions of the actor hint at drama and intrigue - and tell us clearly that the match fixing scandal will be the center point of the film. Did money make its way to the much restricted locker room? Did Azhar accept the cash? Did he give away any match? The motion poster leaves us with these unanswered questions making it all the more difficult for us to wait for the trailer launch today.

Directed by Tony D`souza, 'Azhar' is based on the life and times of one of India`s most loved cricket captains, Azharuddin and chronicles his rise and fall as country`s most controversial sportsman yet. The film also stars Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta along with others. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, N. P. Singh and Sneha Rajani, the film is slated to release on May 13th, 2016. It is Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Networks` production.
