Lunch Box fame Nirmat-Kaur has denied her involvement as an actress with the biopic on former India cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin titled Azhar.

The buzz was that Nirmat Kaur will be playing an important role of a lawyer in the film but Nimrat has denied her association and clarified that she was approached for a role but nothing got materialize.

In statement she also took to the rumours of her walking away because of differences with the script.

She said, "How can I walk out of a film I haven`t even signed? Beyond that, I won`t be able to tell anything else."

Directed by Tony D`Souza, 'Azhar' stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres next year. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Sneha Rajani under their banners Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures.
