Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu
Cinematographer Vijay Milton is taking to direction with Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu (AIBI) starring Bharath and Mumbai girl Mallika Kapoor. The highlight of the movie is actor-director Cheran has produced the movie from his Dream Theatres production house.
'The movie is an attempt to record the elements of cinema found in our daily life, unlike my producer Cheran, who records real life in the reel,' says the director.
On the lengthy title, Vijay Milton says, 'there is no significance in opting for the title. We just wanted to stand away from the crowd. Initially Cheran was also against going for such a big title. I am confident that it would get the attention of the people'.
If Cheran has given an identity to his movie, music-director Yuvan Shankar Raja has given it a face-lift by rendering excellent songs. He is the lifeline of this musical film, he adds.
The movie is about romance between two couples (Bharath, Mallika Kapoor and Arun Kumar and Deepu).
`AIBI is a light-hearted film, sure to attract youths to theatres', he adds.
Milton has the huge responsibility of handling the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction besides cinematography. Bollywood's noted choreographer the big-made Ganesh Acharya tests his wares against Bharath in a dance number.
On acting in the film, Bharath, flying high post Pattiyal, says, 'not everyday you aspire to get such roles. Once I fell in love with that character, it was a question of application.'
Cheran is a relieved man. He says, 'director Vijay Milton in the company of Yuvan has brought out right feelings and emotions on the screen. Feeling privileged to produce the movie'.
AIBI would be released this Tamil New Year's day.
