Like several other mainstream Bollywood stars, Ayushmann Khurrana also has a line up of promising films waiting to be released. The actor was last seen in the romantic comedy flick 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' and his upcoming projects include 'Anek', 'Doctor G' and 'An Action Hero'. Ayushmann is quite exited for fans to witness these films and he's optimistic that they will lure the audience back to theatres.

According to a report in ETimes, Ayushmann said, "My next slate of films will feature cinema that is looking to unite people, tell them thought provoking yet supremely entertaining stories that can hopefully appeal to the widest cross section of society. We want audiences to come back to the theatres and I want to contribute to that process."

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, 'Anek' is a thriller flick set against the geo political situation in North Eastern part of the country while 'Doctor G' is a campus comedy drama helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap. While mot much has been known about 'An Action Hero' yet but makers have reported that this Anand L Rai directorial will be an "out of the box entertainer".
