Ayushmann Khurrana has the most distinct filmography of any actor currently working in the Bollywood. He always tries to target some sort of societal problem or taboo topic through his movies. His latest venture 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' was also an example of this. Ayushmann believes that well made films which deliver good messages can bring positive changes in the society and in a recent media interaction, he explained this belief in detail.

In a recent report by Koimoi, Ayushmann was quoted saying, “I have always believed that cinema can serve a purpose to better society and I hope that such films have done their bit to affect change. I have played a small hand in harbouring a sentiment of equality among my countrymen because I have to credit my visionary filmmakers and script writers for doing the brunt of the work because it is their vision that has triggered the winds of change."

Talking about the relationship between films and society, Ayushmann said, "Progressive films can only be made in a progressive society and the response that ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ is getting is tantamount to the fact that people want to see more and more disruptive content.”

On the work front, Ayushmann will soon be seen in Anubhav Sinha's thriller flick 'Anek' and Anubhuti Kashyap's comedy drama 'Doctor G'.
