Ayushmann Khurrana wrapped t the filming for 'Anek' a little while ago and even before the film could release, he has jumped on to work on his next film 'Doctor G'. The project was announced a few months ago. Recently, Ayushmann shared a few glimpses from the script reading session of the film with Rakul Preet Singh which made it clear that the project is all set to go on floors. The film will helmed by debutant director Anubhuti Kashyap, who worked as an assistant in his brother Anurag's film, 'Gangs Of Wasseypur'.

The film is said to be a campus drama so it will be exciting to see Ayushmann is this fresh role. He'll be playing Doctor Uday Gupta while Rakul Preet will be playing his senior, Doctor Fatima. The project is bankrolled by Junglee Pictures and its is penned by Anubhuti, Saurabh Bhat, Vishal Wagh and Sumit Saxena. This is Ayushmann's third collaboration with the production house after 'Badhaai Ho' and 'Bareilly Ki Barfi'.

Ayushmann Khurrana also finished the shoot for 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqi' where he'll share screen with Vaani Kapoor.
