Ayushmann Khurrana is goldmine of talents. Aprat from brilliant acting and singing, his lov for poetry is also widely known. The actor often shares his verses and couplets on social media. He often writes about lide experiences, love, human nature and other stuff surrounding our lives. Today, on World Poetry Day, the actor talked about poems have influenced his life. He said, "Poetry is an expression of life, love, sorrow, pain and experience, and for me, it is my window to reminisce every single moment of my life. It can also be purely imaginative. A poet doesn’t have to experience utmost darkness or extreme mirth to write about varied emotions. They just have to be empathetic.”
Just like it is with many art forms, poetry is also a way of escaping from the worldly problems for a while. Ayushmann says, "Poetry is a vehicle to daydream my way into a world of future possibilities. I have been an avid lover of poetry all my life, and I consider myself an aspiring poet. Robert Graves once said, ‘To be a poet is a condition, not a profession,’ and I absolutely believe this. I believe all human beings need to reflect, recount and recollect their emotions, life journeys, beliefs and experiences.”
The actor belives that everyone should try writing poetry without thinking about the end result as it will help the individual explore their feelings. He said, "I would certainly encourage everyone to write without thinking about how it will turn out because I don’t believe that our deepest emotions can be judged by anyone. However, writing down those feelings brings a lot of clarity and stabilise the fragility of emotions that we go through every day."
