Back in December 2020, Ayushmann Khurrana announced his next film titled 'Doctor G'. The film is a comedy drama set in a medical college. Ayushmann will be seen starring alongside Rakul Preet Singh in the movie, who is also going to appear as a Doctor. The film is now on floors and first look of Ayushmann Khurrana as his character has now been revealed. He recently uploaded a pic in instagram from the sets and it features him sporting a doctor's lab coat and carrying a book about gynecology.

The project being helmed Anubhuti Kashyap, who is sister of acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Ayushmann Khurrana is super excited to film 'Doctor G'.

He said, "The subject of Doctor G is very close to me. Considering the lockdown restrictions, we all have been waiting to start the film and we are glad that the day has finally arrived. It’s an honour to portray a doctor on the screen for the first time. I am truly excited to start shooting the film also because it’s going to allow me to relive my memories of being a student and living the hostel life. I’m looking forward to collaborating with my director Anubhuti.”
