For this Diwali, the Malayalee film buffs will only have a film to cherish. Titled 'Ayur Rekha', this new Sreenivasan starrer will grace thirty two centres today.

Directed by G M Manu whose earlier films were not much worth mentioning, this new flick is a suspenseful mystery drama. Sreenivaasan who has played many police characters earlier with varying degrees of success, like in ‘Aanaval Mothiram’ and ‘Aayush Kaalam’, will appear as an investigative officer who is here to find clues on the murder of a lady doctor, who owns the biggest hospital complex in the city.

Earlier many films including Mohanlal's 'Rock and Roll' was tipped to be on theatres, by now.

It is on the grapevine that Malayalee film makes have started fearing the big releases like 'Om Shanthi Om' and 'Sawariya' and so they have postponed the release of their films to further safer dates.

If that is the case, G.M. Manu and his crew must be appreciated for taking a daring initiative to get his film released on time without fearing the other language biggies...
