In a shocking turn of events, the head of the Ram Janmabhoomi trust in Ayodhya, who was on the stage with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many other VIPs during the ceremony for a Ram Temple last week, has now tested positive for coronavirus.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the head of Ram Temple trust was among the five people who shared the stage at the grand ceremony which was held at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on August 5.
The other prominent people who were on the stage during the ceremony include Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel and Mohan Bhagwat, chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Few days before the ceremony, a priest named Pradeep Das, and 14 policemen who were on duty in the Ram Janambhoomi complex tested positive for coronavirus.PM Modi laid the first brick for Ram Temple at Ayodhya last Wednesday.
