Ayodhya is immersed in profound religious fervor as the long-anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla unfolded on Monday, graced by the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, and other dignitaries of distinction. An awe-inspiring aerial display unfolded as army helicopters showered flower petals on the sacred temple premises during the consecration.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the idol of Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya. Following the Pran Pratisthan ceremony, PM Modi offered a lotus at the feet of Ram Lalla, seeking the divine blessings. An IAF chopper then adorned the Ram Mandir premises with a shower of flower petals.
The initial visuals of the Ram Lalla murti at the newly-constructed Ram Mandir have become viral sensations on social media after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Netizens have taken to various platforms to express their emotions on this historic day. Starting from January 23, devotees will have the cherished opportunity to witness the divine presence of Lord Ram at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has disclosed that, following the sanctification, devotees from within and outside the country are expected to converge on Ayodhya, seeking the benevolence of Lord Ram.
The Trust has meticulously arranged accommodations for over 3 lakh devotees daily, ensuring a seamless experience for those visiting, and will distribute Prasad after their darshan. Three times a day, aarti will be performed to the idol, enhancing the spiritual ambiance of this momentous event.
The 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, stands as a masterpiece within the temple. Carved from a single block of black stone, the idol portrays the five-year-old form of Lord Ram standing gracefully on a lotus. Covered in a veil until the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the unveiling has garnered heartfelt reactions on social media.
Users have expressed admiration for the beautifully sculpted idol, praising Arun Yogiraj's remarkable craftsmanship.
