Ayan Mukerji's upcoming fantasy drama 'Brahmastra' is the biggest topic of discussion in Bollywood at the moment. The trailer of this long awaited film was released recently and it amazed the audience with its groundbreaking visuals and a fresh sci-fi concept originating from Hindu mythology.

As most people are aware, 'Brahmastra' is supposed to be the first installment of a proposed trilogy and in a recent media interaction, director Ayan Mukerji shared his plans for the second and third installments. According to a recent report in ETimes, he stated, "We will plan the shooting of the second and third part after the release of the first film."

Ayan added, "The entire trilogy will tell the same story but the next movies will introduce new characters and bring new perspectives to the Brahmastra story."

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy among others, 'Brahmastra' is set to release on 9th of September 2022.
