Ayan Mukherji is the latest to join the list of filmmakers who have gone ahead to face the camera... The young director has donned the grease paint only and only for his dear buddy and actor Ranbir Kapoor - for their forthcoming film ‘Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani’.

According to our sources, Ranbir had set a condition before shooting for the film’s song "Badtameez Dil". The star had insisted Ayan to be a part of the song or he would not shoot for the song!

Said a source, "There is a scene where someone pops open a champagne bottle and even smears cake on a guy. However, it took some time for everyone to convince Ayan to be a part of the shot, Ranbir even wanted Ayan to wear a coat. Finally the director gave in and shot for the scene."

And ultimately the cast and crew of ‘Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani’ had a blast while shooting for the song. Added the sources, "There are a lot of youngsters on the sets and they don't let go of an opportunity where they can have fun."
