As the highly anticipated release of Sivakarthikeyan's "Ayalaan" approaches, the filmmakers have unveiled the trailer, offering audiences a first glimpse of the alien's voice.
The 2.19-minute trailer opens with Sivakarthikeyan embodying the role of a compassionate farmer, extending his care to all living beings, even pests. Meanwhile, a group of scientists is on a quest to uncover a rare element with potentially immense power. The plot thickens as an extraterrestrial being descends on Earth. Sivakarthikeyan, joined by his friends, embarks on a mission to unravel the sinister motives of the scientists, which could lead to the destruction of the planet.
Directed by Ravikumar, "Ayalaan" features a stellar cast including Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Isha Kopikkar, and Rakul Preet Singh. The intriguing voice of the Ayalaan is provided by none other than actor Siddharth. Notably, Sivakarthikeyan has previously lent his voice to Siddharth in the Tamil version of "Oh My Friend" (2011). The film boasts over 4000 CGI shots, a record for an Indian film, specially crafted for the alien character.
With AR Rahman handling the music, Nirav Shah behind the camera, Ruben in the editing bay, and Anbariv choreographing the stunts, "Ayalaan" promises a visual and auditory spectacle. Produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh under KJR Studios, the film has already completed censorship formalities, securing a U certificate from the censor board.
Scheduled for a theatrical release on January 12, "Ayalaan" is set to go head-to-head with Dhanush's "Captain Miller" and Arun Vijay's "Mission Chapter 1," setting the stage for an exciting clash at the box office. Siva Karthikeyan has carved a distinct niche for himself in the Telugu film industry with noteworthy projects such as "Doctor Varun" and "College Don." As a result, anticipation is steadily growing for his upcoming film. People are waiting eagerly for the film to experience thrilling tide in the sci fi entertainer.
