Director Ravikumar debuted in Kollywood with 'Indru Netru Naalai' in 2015, which won him both critical and commercial success. It was the first of a kind, time machine-based time travel story in Tamil. The creator crafted it in a way that was enjoyable to masses all over the state.

Ravikumar's second film, 'Ayalaan', is the first alien movie in Tamil cinema. The Sivakarthikeyan starrer has been in production for a few years now. Finally, Ayalaan is coming to cinemas on January 12th as a Pongal treat. Now, the latest news is that Ravikumar is set to join hands with Suriya for the first time for his third directorial.

In a recent interview, Ravikumar said, "I have narrated a story to Suriya sir. It's a science fiction movie. We have planned to do the project under Dream Warrior Pictures. This upcoming film will take off based on Suriya sir's commitments." This is now doing rounds on the internet. Suriya wrapped up 'Kanguva' and will start shooting for 'Suriya 43' this month.

Suriya has several exciting collaborations in his pipeline already. He has Vetrimaaran's 'Vaadivaasal' and a 'Rolex' standalone film, an LCU endgame film and 'Irumbu Kai Maayavi' with Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is also in talks with directors Boyapati Srinu, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and now, Ravikumar.
