'AWE', one of the most awaited entertainers for the discerning audiences, will hit the screens on Feb 16. The film went through Censor formalities earlier in today. It has got 'U/A'. "Let's all watch it together," Nani, the film's presenter, says.
Debutant director Prasanth Varma is seemingly going to tell a heart-touching (and even heart-wrenching?) story. The trailer said only such much. The deserted soul (Kajal Aggarwal) is ominous, while the bewitching beauty (Regina Cassandra) is disturbingly lonesome. Or so it seems. Murali Sharma seems to be seen in his career's most performance-oriented role as a narcissistic magician. Nithya Menen's behaviour is abnormal, much like Srinivas Avasarala's hairdo. Eesha Rebba's is perhaps the only run-of-the-mill character. If all this is exciting enough, the announcement that the story is based on some real incidents is even more so.
The film comes with the caption 'Prapancham lo nenu. Naa loni prapancham'. Also seen are Priyadarshi (as a chef), Rohini and Devadarshini Sukumaran.
If music is by Mark K Robin, the cinematography is by Karthik Ghattamaneni. Gautham Nerusu is the editor.
