The latest trend in Malayalam cinema is to shoot movies away from their home.

Director Shyama Prasad's Ore Kadal is being shot in Chennai while director Kamal is shaping up his movie Goal in Ooty.

Lal Jose shot Arabikatha starring Srinivasan and Indrajith in Dubai. The movie is expected for release on 5 June.

“There are no specific reasons behind shooting entire movie away from Kerala. The script demands that we shoot them in specific areas,” say the directors.
