No one can forget Ann Alexia Anra who acted as Kamal's little daughter in 'Avvai Shanmughi' playing the pivotal role in the story. The scene when she finds out that the new maid in the house is her father in disguise by the smell of him was very emotional and still is on rewatch.

Ann played Bharathi a five year old girl in 'Avvai Shanmughi' who has to cope with the divorce of her mom and dad played by Meena and Kamal and also tackle her grandfather Gemini Ganesan and the erring house staff who try to steal.
