Yami Gautham narrated a story to Ravi Babu, her Nuvvila director, to which our maker of films like Bhumika's Anasuya and Amaravathi kept saying 'Vu.' However, the same night he had a 'Ulikki' experience. Watch Avunu for yourself and say whether it was 'Vu' or 'Ulikki' for you, because the film is inspired by a real-life incident, a spooky one, that happened in Yami's life.

The day he listened to Yami's story, scarily enough, the lights in Ravi Babu's hotel room at Ramoji Film City went off without any one switching them off, the door opened even though the director never said 'action.' Yami had similar experiences at her flat in Mumbai some days ago.

Compelled as a story-teller to narrate the story, Ravi Babu silently made 'Avunu.' The film is set to be released in September.

Since Yami was busy with another film, he roped in Poornima for the heroine's role.
