AVS, all well with Kothi Mooka

Comedy actor-turned-producer AVS is all well with Kothimooka. The film is proceeding at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. He is filming some scenes on Krishnudu, Shraddha Das and Uttej, the main leads.

The film will be completed by April, with the exception of two songs. AVS has written the story and screenplay.

Venkat Jagadeesh is producing the movie under the banner Tulasi Poojitha Films. So, many years after AVS debuted as producer with Tarun-starrer Uncle, which was a super flop, he is turning director this year. He has roped in Mani Sharma as the music director.

Kothimooka will have loads of comedy, which will be taken care by Brahmanandam, Ali, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Harshawardhan, Venu Madhav and others. Hope AVS becomes successful in the second innings, after a brief sabbatical owing to ill-health in the last two years.

Dialogue is by Janardhan Maharshi. Bhaskarabatla and Jogayya Sastry are the lyricists. The producer says that AVS has got a good story in his hands, and the film's two big strengths are its director and dialogue-writer.

The film is slated for a release in May.

Siddharth-starrer Bava is proceeding at a brisk pace at Palakollu, where a new schedule has begun on the 15th. Earlier to this, a long schedule at Rajoli was shot on the main leads, Siddharth and Praneetha and Ahuthi Prasad and Joginaidu.

Vishwanath-Naresh's film completes Kerala schedule

Allari Naresh, Manjari Phadnais and others are done with shooting for the Kerala schedule of their forthcoming film, which is yet to be titled. Directed by K Vishwanath, the film is jointly produced by Hari Gopala Krishna Murthy and Neela Tilak under the banner Sri Rajeshwari Films Pvt. Ltd.
