'Popcorn' is hitting the screens on February 10. Directed by Murali Naga Srinivas Gandham, the film is bankrolled by Madhupalli Bhogendra Gupta of Acharya Creations.
On the back of its successful trailer, 'Popcorn' looks poised to give another hit for Avika Gor, who says that she has got a classy, trendy role in the movie. It's a far cry from the girl-next-door she played in films like 'Uyyala Jampala', her Tollywood debut.
As a youngster named Sameerna, the character played by the 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' diva gets stuck inside a lift with Sai Ronak, a music-loving, urbane, city-bred chap named Pawan in the romantic comedy. The dysfunctional lift where they get stuck forms the backdrop for an edge-of-the-seat drama.
The film, which received UA certification from the CBFC, has got music by Shravan Bharadwaj. Edited by Karthik Srinivas, its cinematography has been done by MN Bal Reddy.
