James Cameron's epic special effects extravaganza 'Avatar' was ahead of its time by miles when released in 2009. It went on to become the highest grossing film in history, a record that it held for more than a decade before 'Avengers : Endgame' surpassed it. The long awaited sequel 'Avatar : The Way of Water' has been long awaited and the official trailer has just dropped.
The official synopsis reads "Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure."
While Cameron and his team transported us to another planet in 'Avatar' he has now led us deep into water to show us another new world and its splendid life. It will be superfluous to talk about the technical wizardry as the two minutes twenty eight seconds of breathtaking visuals speak for themselves.
One thing is certain that the master filmmaker has already sold his dream to over a billion people around the globe and the 'Avatar: The Way of Water' official trailer underlines the fact. The never before CG magic on screen will unfold in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other Indian languages along with the English version in India on December 16th ahead of the Christmas holidays.
'Avatar : The Way Of Water' stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Kate Winslet. Screenplay is by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver. Production is by Lightstorm Entertainment while worldwide distribution is by 20th Century Fox. Time to revisit Pandora is near!.
