Deva Katta, the director who has made a mark, a very strong one with his two films Vennela and Prasthanam launched his third film with the Akkineni scion Naga Chaitanya and produced by RR Movie Makers almost two years ago. Touted to be a political thriller based on true characters and incidents in the region of Vijayawada, this film created quite a buzz both in the industry and the audience. However, the production happened at a snail pace for some time and then halted for over a year now running into a financial and development crisis.

The film is now taken over by Kamakshi Films D. Siva Prasad Reddy and future looks brighter now. Director Deva tweeted yesterday saying 'ANS finishing work to start soon. After knowing more details, I would like to discard some of the comments posted earlier on twitter' clearly indicating the gaps in the project management.
