Drunk woman shows middle finger to Rafael Nadal at Australian Open; His reaction goes viral

While Spanish legend Rafael Nadal was taking on Michael Mmoh during the second set of the 2021 Australian open on Thursday, he encountered an inebriated spectator who flipped him the bird. Nadal's hilarious reaction to the woman's gesture has won the internet.
Nadal was preparing to serve when he looked up at the crowd and spotted the drunk woman flipping him the middle finger. His confusion turned into amusement when he confirmed that the action and other expletives were directed at him. Soon after, the crowd began booing at the woman while the security guards escorted her out of the stadium. Nadal ended up beating Mmoh in straight sets 6-1 6-4 6-2 to advance to the third round. While he was asked during the post-match interview whether he knew the person, the Grand Slam champion laughed and said, No, and honestly I don't want to know.
Speaking to the reporters, Nadal later said, Yeah, yeah, the finger was to me I think. I don't know. Maybe she drunk too much gin or tequila. I don't know. But honestly was a strange situation, but, yeah, funny at the same time. For me, it was funny. Honestly, somebody doing the finger to me with, I don't know the reason, but was—yeah. I was surprised, yes, but at the same time was thinking, poor girl. Because probably she was drunk or something like this. I don't know.
