Australian cricketer and former Mumbai Indians all-rounder Ben Cutting tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend and former Miss World Australia Erin Holland on Sunday after postponing their wedding twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ben Cutting and cricket presenter Erin Holland got married at a beach in Elements of Byron's Heart of the Bay, New South Wales, after dating for over five years. Sharing a picture from the ceremony, Ben Cutting captioned his post, "Official Wifey!" Their wedding planners 'Alysia Bridger' wrote in one of their posts on Instagram, "Congratulations to such a gorgeous couple @cuttsy_31 @erinvholland on the most beautiful weekend with family and friends @elementsofbyron on your wedding day. After two postponements yesterday was your day and we loved planning your wedding with you both. Wishing you all the happiness in the world." Meanwhile, the former Miss World Australia was quoted as saying, "I honestly felt like a princess, the dress was magical. It all came together at the last minute. We couldn't do fittings in person so it was all done online. It has been a long journey to this point where we could safely have our friends and family under the one roof."
Ben Cutting expressed his happiness as well over having had the family members and friends attend their wedding after a long wait. "Our families are from all over so we had to reschedule a couple of times with borders opening and closing. Everyone was so accommodating and we are so grateful they all made the time, three times, to be with us for our wedding," the all-rounder said. Ben Cutting was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL auction and was released by the team ahead of the 2020 IPL auction.
