Figures revealed by distributor prove that 'Saithan' is a clear hit

After the blockbuster hit 'Pichaikkaran' that released in March, actor-music director-producer Vijay Antony teamed up with debutant director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy for the psychological thriller 'Saithan'. The film released on December 1,2016 and received predominantly positive reviews from critics and movie buffs. The film took a very good opening in Chennai city and other centers according to trade sources.
Now Auraa Cinemas the entity which released the film all over Tamil Nadu has confirmed that 'Saithan' grossed around Rs.11.75 crores in its first five days which is huge considering the budget, star value and cost incurred on promotions.
