Aunshka Denies Her Height

Females with any height above 5Â6Â seem to be quite taller than that. Anushka would certainly lead the league of long legged beauties in the tinsel town. There is a popular belief that Anushka is close to 6 feet in height, which has led to directors hesitating to cast her opposite all the actors, owing to the probable height difference. And her pairing up with tall heroes like Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Prabhas or Mahesh Babu is a great eye feast and adds to the chemistry.
But responding to a question in an interview to IndiaGlitz about the height comparison with Arya, she clarified saying I am not 6 feet tall! I am many inches shorter than the rumoured height. In fact, I am only 5'6, which I don't think is too tall. Besides, I don't perform based on whether the actor is tall or short; I choose my projects solely based on script and the importance to my character in it.
Anushka is currently working on two historic movies - 'Bahubali' and 'Rudrama Devi' in Tollywood, both of which will be complete only after a year and half. It is only after completing these projects will she take up a new one. Meanwhile, she is gearing up for the release of her most awaited multilingual ÂVarnaÂ.
