Since the time they have been glued to their tv sets to watch the supra-exciting political drama for a month, the Telugu cine audience are for the first time ready to brace up the cornucopia of releases in the first month of the New Year. Starved of first-class entertainment of the most-awaited films for almost a month and that of the already hit ones like 'Arya2', the audience are only eager to lap major as well as minor releases.
As is already known, the month should see almost 12-15 releases, among which 'Adhurs', 'Kedi', 'Namo Venkatesha', 'Shambo Shiva Shambo' and 'Leader' are the hot contenders. It is difficult to say which ones among the other releases is the most interesting hot pick. As of now, Prasthanam, Taj Mahal and Om Shanthi are strongest ones in fray.
In the second week of the month, the fight will be intense between the aforementioned big releases. At a time, when Tollywood needs utmost support from the audiences to keep itself afloat, market is sending positive signals of the audience thronging in a big way to theatres.
If the month is found too crowded, do not be surprised to see the releases of two or three of them getting postponed.
