Although he can be seen only once in a while on the big screen, the impact of Atul Kulkarni's performance lingers for a long time in our minds.

Atul's admirers can catch up enough of him as he is playing a very important character in the much awaited 'Delhi 6'.

In the film he plays a character named Gobar who is a known person in the whole of Chandni Chowk.

This particular character was inspired and modeled on a person from Allahabad who used to stay at the banks of river Ganga.

When Atul came to know about this fact from the writer of Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's film, he got curious and decided to go the place to do some research.

The actor's Allahabad trip proved to be extremely fruitful as he was able to get first hand information about the unique person from his relatives and friends.

All the data that Atul had collected helped him to know the person better and really get inside the skin of the character.

In 'Delhi 6' Gobar plays a very significant role in the protagonist's life played by Abhishek Bachchan.
