First it was the web and social media, then it shattered all the Box office records. Now it has created new benchmarks for films on satellite television. Pawan Kalyan's 'Attarintiki Daredi' released in September last year and just finished hundred days of run just a couple of weeks ago, was broadcast on MAA TV on the eve of Pongal.

Producer BVSN Prasad has shared that the film has stood out in terms of the TRP Rating points for a film viewership on Satellite Television. He said ‘Attarintiki Daredi has been embraced by the audiences across the Telugu speaking public on the globe and in spite of piracy, it went on to become the all time industry hit. Now on TV, the film has accrued a 19.04 TRP ratings which is the highest for any film as on date

He said the credit goes to Pawan Kalyan - Trivikram Srinivas combination and hoped that this kind of eyeball counts will help big ticket films getting a bigger Satellite Revenues than the present numbers. For the umpteenth time in the past four months, he thanked the fans of Power Star and said he’d be looking forward for doing yet another film with him.
