Attack on Mohan Babu's kin

Mohan Babu's involvement in the Samaikhya Andhra agitation has translated into virulent attacks on his sons Vishnu and Manoj and daughter Lakshmi Prasanna, here in Pet Basheerabad in Hyderabad. Manoj was shooting for a film in the city, when activists, who identified themselves as belonging to the TRS, ransacked the shooting equipment and tried to attack the brother-sister duo, who scampered away and got into a house. The attackers reportedly hurtled stones at the house later. The tense situation created a sense of fear for at least three hours in the vicinity.

Even in the presence of the police, the attackers troubled the Manchu family members with their unscrupulous and violent behaviour and continued to make assault on junior artistes.

Even as the macabre drama was unfolding outside, Manoj and his security guard reportedly manhandled a journo. When Vishnu reached the spot in a hurry, the activists, who now grew in strength rounded up his card.

The police arrested Manoj and Vishnu for manhandling some men from the media inside the house, when attackers hurtled chappals at the latter.
