Director Atlee, known for his blockbuster collaborations with Shah Rukh Khan, is reportedly set to team up with another Bollywood superstar for his next film: Salman Khan.

While initial reports suggested Allu Arjun was in talks for the project, it appears the collaboration fell through due to differences in creative vision and budget concerns. Reports suggest that Atlee's hefty remuneration was a sticking point for Geetha Arts, owned by Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind.

Shooting is anticipated to begin in 2025, following Salman Khan's completion of "Sikandar," directed by A.R. Murugadoss, which is scheduled for an Eid 2025 release.
