The rapper Trouble, whose legal name is Mariel Semonte Orr, was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning, at the Lake St. James Apartments in Conyers. He was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Trouble was confirmed dead, and the sheriff's office asserted that they obtained warrants for Jamichael Jones, who is under suspicion in connection with the murder. He has been issued warrants for the alleged crimes of violent assault and aggravated murder.
However, he has not been taken into custody yet. According to the sheriff's office reports, the singer was coming to visit a "female friend" when this incident took place. The situation escalated into a "domestic situation" at the complex.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, the rapper's label wrote their condolences to Trouble's family. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the children, loved ones, and fans of Trouble. A true voice for his city and an inspiration to the community he proudly represented. RIP Skoob," the post read.
Trouble released his debut mixtape in 2011 titled 'December 17th'. He later dropped an album in 2018, 'Edgewood', that featured artists Drake, the Weeknd and Offset from the Migos.
