Atif Aslam's Song In Salman Khan's Notebook To Be Re-Recorded!

Soon after the Pulwama attack, the outrage against Pakistani artistes that followed had rumors that the song that Atif Aslam had sung in Salman Khan’s production venture ‘Notebook’ is to be replaced with another singer. Now looks like the rumors have turned true. And the director Nitin Kakkar has confirmed the news at the trailer preview of ‘Notebook’ .
All India Cine Workers Association announced a blanket ban on Pakistani artistes after which the decision was made. The director said, “We have got a new voice. There’s only one song of Atif in the film and we will have to re-do it. We all are Indians and it is unfortunate whatever has happened. But the show must go on as they say”. He further said that the release of the Notebook's trailer preview was supposed to be aired on n February 17 but was delayed because of the terror attack. Nitin said, ““Nation is always our priority, country comes first and then other things. Unfortunately, that incident happened and we had to do our bit. We felt it is not the right time to release the trailer. So we held it back.”
‘Notebook’ will see two amazing newbies making a great entry into the industry – Pranutan (Mohnish Bahl’s daughter) and Zaheer Iqbal (Salman’s childhood friend’s son). The romantic drama is all set to hit the screens on March 29.
