The shooting of 'Athidi' directed by Y Surender Reddy and produced by G Rameshbabu on the banner of Sri Krishna Productions with Maheshbabu and Amritha Rao in the lead is progressing in and around Hyderabad.

Earlier, a part of the film was shot in Delhi, Mumbai and other areas.

It is learnt that Maheshbabu's character was moulded to attract all classes and all ages of audiences. It is reliably learnt that the unit would soon leave for Europe to can songs as it would be pleasant during this summer.

Earlier it was planned to go to Australia, but for a change, the venue was shifted to Europe.

Manisharma is giving melodious tunes for this movie. It may be recalled here that the combination of Manisharma and Maheshbabu had produced several musical hits.

The film would also repeat the history, it is felt.

The producer is planning to launch the audio in July and release the film on August 9, the birthday of Maheshbabu.
