Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Rameshbabu on the banner of Sri Krishna Productions, 'Athidi' with Prince Maheshbabu and Bollywood heroine Amritha Rao in the lead is in brisk progress of shooting.

The film had recently completed its schedules in Delhi and Mumbai cities and is presently continuing it's shooting in Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad.

A duet is being shot on Maheshbabu and Amritha Rao under the choreography of Raju Sundaram. This is the debut film for Amritha Rao, while the Prince is sporting a different and glamorous look.

It is learnt that the film would be in the style of Surender Reddy and at the same time, it has several elements like family sentiment, love and action that suits Maheshbabu's body language.

Manisharma gave fantastic tunes for the movie.

It is learnt that Maheshbabu is striving hard and is committed to give a big hit to his brother and producer Rameshbabu, as the film 'Arjun' in their combination was not so big hit on commercial front.
